Seamlessly merging site context into a photorealistic image can be very involved and time consuming. I've worked hard to refine my process to make it more efficient and the final product more convincing. But other than for producing a pretty image, why?
Context matters.
We have used these images time and again to refine our designs. Woops - the road crossing leads right into a sign. Let's move it 5 metres to align with the park pathway.
The public likes them. Not just because they are pretty. A well rendered image shows the design in a way that we will ultimately experience it. No imagination or explanation needed.
The public feels listened to. When your house is clearly integrated within a photorealistic visualization you know the design team has considered your property in the design process. A visualization which shows your town tells you that the design team cares about your place. It is not just another cookie cutter parking lot design.
